The Thornhill Reds improved to 2-0 in 2024, with an 11-4 home win at the hands of the now 0-4 Leaside Leafs.
Matthew Kanhai(1-0) worked two scoreless frames for the win in relief, while Jorge Frugoni(0-2) was saddled with the loss. Brendan Colley went deep for the Reds, Argenis Paz chipped in three hits, and Thornhill newcomer Zach Kourous was 2-2 with two doubles and three RBI.
