The Thornhill Reds are the 2023 GTBL champions for the second straight season. Manager Nolan Revin guided his club to both the GTBL pennant and a 4-0 playoff weekend in winning back to back playoff championships. 2013 and 2014 saw the Reds last repeat as champs, who have now captured six out of the last nine(2020/21 no season) league titles.
The Reds outlasted runners up Leaside in the final, behind the strength of a Mack Major complete game 5-4 win. Junior call up Tyler Hill had the game winning stroke, a solo HR to put the Reds up 5-2 late which proved to be the clinching run.
